iTax for Recorders and Submitters

Ingeo is pleased to announce iTax, our newest enhancement to our e-recording service. iTax was designed with the input from counties and submitters to process transfer tax documents thereby enabling e-recording of related deeds. iTax is a web service that requires no additional hardware or software.

Using iTax, county personnel can review and process a tax document, the deed, the mortgage and other related documents. Once approved, the deed, mortgage and other related documents are routed to the county’s e-recording queue. iTax enables counties to electronically record a higher percentage of its recording volume which results in greater cost savings for the county and its taxpayers.

With iTax, submitters can now electronically file deeds for e-recording in states where it was previously not possible. Title companies and closing agents can achieve higher cost savings, reduce timing gaps, eliminate payment errors, increase document security, and reduce rejections on a far greater portion of their recording volume.
